Honda City Exteriors
Honda City has shown notable transformation with the arrival of every new generation. This 4th generation City also looks unique from its predecessors and gets perfect match up of rigid metal crafting and stylish impressions throughout its shell. The magnificent costume that the car wears follows the trending ‘global car’ idea to attract large number of mid-size sedan enthusiasts. Honda has utilized well the ‘Shark Conceptual Design’ to give the new City a character of its own thereby making it fresh, enthralling and aggressive. The silhouette gets filled with the artistic creases below the chrome door handles and at the door bottom. The bulges above the wheel arcs are quite neat and not too heavy. The pillars, especially the blackened B-pillar look elegant and add a premium touch to the car. Like the previous City, the 2014 City also gets the well-designed body coloured wing mirrors with turn indicators. The shark fin antenna further gives the car a unique stance from the side profile. What attract most at the sides are the well styled 5 spokes 15” Alloy wheels. The front profile has plenty of inputs to drive you crazy at the very first stance and the cosmetics have been utilized optimally to increase the grace. The facia of the new Honda City looks fabulous with the newly introduced Solid Wing Face Chrome Grille with the company’s ‘H’ badge at the centre. Besides this, the reflector headlamps with parallelogram like shape also look premium. The hood is quite similar to the previous generation of this car but the curve at the edge is slightly different. The large front windshield also looks attractive and raises the sporty standards of the car. The front body coloured bumper is another USP of the new City exteriors that gets front under spoiler as additional accessory. The mid of the front bumper gets the net like air-dam that adds grace to the profile and at the sides the bumper hosts oval shaped fog lights that avail improved visibility. The roof gets the panoramic sun-roof that allows light and fresh air to pass in the cabins easily. Coming to the rear, the City gets all new Premium wraparound tail lights with inbuilt indicators suffixed to a new Rear licence chrome garnish. The boot door is slightly raised up to match it with the new sporty styling and the rear giant windshield also increases the cosmetic charm. The rear bumper size is slightly increased but it gives a bold image. The bumper hosts twin reflectors at the bottom edges that make the profile more appealing. The exhaust is not that fancy one, just the normal one but it doesn’t look weird. Dimensions are somewhat the same as the old Honda City, the overall length of the new City is 4440 mm while the width is extends to 1695 mm. The length is much more than the younger sibling Honda Amaze, however the difference in the width is not much. You will be pleased with the availability of varied colour options in the new Honda City. It comes in six attractive shades with both metallic and non-metallic options – Newly introduced Golden Brown Metallic, Taffeta White, Alabaster Silver Metallic, Urban Titanium Metallic, Crystal Black Pearl and Carnelian Red Pearl. This sizzling sedan gets the shape that a contemporary urban three-box actually needs and no doubt this new avatar will surely delight the youth.
Exterior Measurement:
The overall length of new Honda City is 4440 mm which is slightly lesser than the rival Hyundai Fludic Verna. However, its wheel base is slightly more and measures, 2600 mm. This extended wheel base ensures plenty of leg-room space to the occupants. The width of this mid-size sedan is also sufficient and measures 1695 mm, while its height extends up to 1495 mm. Moreover, the ground clearance of the new Honda City is 165 mm.

Honda City Interior
The inside elegance of new Honda City will surely drive you crazy with its top-class quality and furnishing. At the very first stance you will notice the car nurtured up with the premium quality fabric or leather upholstery. Attention has been paid to cater maximum comfort of the passengers at a competitive price tag. We think that the company has well-preached its ‘Man maximum machine minimum’ philosophy. You will notice the front cabin blessed with comfortable seats mated with either fine quality leather or fabric upholstery. The City interior designers have ensured that the seats offer sufficient thigh-support and shoulder width to avoid any kind of squeezing or uneasiness during long runs. Even the leg-room and shoulder-width are incomparable and enables this sedan to compete even with the higher segment cars. The road visibility from the driver’s seat is pretty good as the new City gets the Driver’s seat height adjustment feature. Both the front seats are blessed with height adjustable headrests that ensure additional comfort and neck protection. Like the front seats, the rear seats also offer plenty of space for three average size passengers to accommodate with ease.
