Chevrolet Cruze

The Chevrolet Cruze was brought in 2009 to replace the Optra sedan in the highly competitive D-Segment. At first glance it embodies all the design elements that characterise big American muscle cars; a large hood, notchback and chunky bits of body work-all to give the Beefy look. However, inside while seeming like a little bit of a tight ship, the Chevrolet Cruze rides low down and can take five people over long distances in quite a lot of comfort. It got a new engine last year and now recently Chevrolet facelifted the Cruze.

The 2013 Chevrolet Cruze gets a new front bumper, grille and chrome surrounds for the fog lamps. The side profile and rear end remain exactly the same as the outgoing model allowing it to retain its muscle car identity. Inside, the Cruze retains its all-black interiors, feature list and design as before.
The Chevrolet is offered with one engine option and in three trim levels; LT LTZ and LTZ automatic. All three make use of a 2.0-litre diesel engine that produces 166PS and 320Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to the front wheels via a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic gearbox .
The Cruze’s feature list is quite large as even the base variant gets two airbags, ABS, Climate control, electrically adjustable OVRMs and a 2 DIN music system with IPOD, USB and Bluetooth compatibility. It competes with the Skoda Octavia, Toyota Corolla and the Skoda Laura.
