The Volkswagen Jetta is a small family car produced by the German manufacturer Volkswagen since 1979. The french automaker Renault has decided to introduce the 4x4 edition of Duster in September 2014. Launched in 2012, the Duster has been the game-changing vehicle for Renault. All the variants at the moment are available only with a front-wheel drive (two-wheel drive). The Toyota Innova is a compact MPV manufactured by Toyota. It is produced in Indonesia under supervision by Toyota Astra Motor since 2004. Mahindra has announced the launch of the SsangYong Rexton W in the Indian market, which is brought in as a CKD from Korea. The Rexton is in its third generation and the next generation model will be developed by Mahindra (at Chakan) for domestic and export markets. The Rexton is available as a 7-seater. The vehicle is badged as SsangYong Rexton by Mahindra and thus there is ‘by Mahindra’ badge on the tail gate. The SsangYong Rexton is powered by a 2696 cc diesel engine which has 5-cylinders and is offered in two set of tunes. The manual Rexton (RX270 XDi) produces 162 BHP of power at 4000 RPM and 340 Nm of torque between 1800-3250 RPM. Nissan Terrano

Nissan will launch the Terrano SUV in October2013 and we have got the price for you. The Japanese automaker will price the Nissan Terrano starting at Rs. 8.90 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Terrano will be offered with a 1.5-litre diesel engine only and no petrol powered Terrano will be launched. Nissan has seen the poor demand for the petrol Duster and has decided not to bring a petrol powered Terrano. Nissan will use the tagline “As solid as you” for the Terrano. The company will offer all variants of the Terrano with driver side airbag as standard, something which it does on its other cars as well. The Nissan Terrano will be offered in four variants which are XL, XL (O), XV and XV premium. The 1.5-litre diesel engine produces 85 PS of power and 200 Nm of torque, mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. This engine gives the Terrano an ARAI mileage of 20.5 km/l. The difference between the Nissan Terrano and Renault Duster will be purely cosmetic. The changes include smoked headlights, new front grille, new bumper, new alloy wheels and new tail lights. On the inside, Nissan will give the Terrano minor changes which will be limited to the seat fabric. The base variant of the diesel Duster (RxE) is priced at Rs. 8.73 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi) and thus the premium which Nissan is charging is Rs. 17,000/- on the base trim. However the premium will vary depending on the variants and one can expect it to increase on higher variants.

AS expected Honda launched a new SUV car Honda Mobilio for giving compition to maruti suzuki ERTIGA,Renault DUSTER and Ford ECO SPORT.This upcoming Honda Mobilio is expected to be available with both petrol and diesel engine options for the customers to choose from. The petrol variant is most likely to be equipped with an advanced 1.5-litre, i-VTEC engine that is further incorporated with electronic fuel injection system. This engine runs on a SOHC valve configuration, which enables it to produce a minimum mileage 14.3 Kmpl in city traffic, while producing a maximum of 17.8 Kmpl on highways. On the other hand, there are rumors going round the market that the company may also offer the 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol engine option as well, which makes it more competitive. It is capable of delivering a mileage in the range of 16 to 18 Kmpl, which is quite decent. The diesel variant will be offered with powerful 1.5-litre i-DTEC engine, which is the most fuel efficient motor in its class. This engine has the ability to produce a minimum of 21 Kmpl under standard road conditions and it goes up to 25.8 Kmpl on highways, which is remarkable.
